Who we are

What we collect from the form

If you fill in the callback form we collect your name, phone number, email address, postcode and vehicle registration, plus anything you choose to write in the description of the fault. The vehicle registration is included because it tells us the exact model, engine and security setup before we set off, and the postcode because it tells us whether the job is in range and where to head. We do not ask for the rest of your address.

We only ask for what we need to call you back and to work out what the job involves.

Why we hold it, and on what basis

We use your details to respond to your enquiry, to arrange a visit, and to carry out the work if you go ahead. Our lawful basis is that this processing is necessary to take steps at your request before entering into a contract, and our legitimate interest in answering people who contact us.

We do not sell your information and we do not use it for marketing unless you ask us to.

How the form is processed

Form submissions are handled for us by Formspark, which receives the contents of the form and passes them to us. Formspark acts as our processor and handles the data on our instructions. Their privacy policy is linked at the bottom of this section.

Analytics

We use Google Analytics 4 to understand how many people visit the site and which parts they use. This is about visitor numbers and behaviour in aggregate, not about identifying you personally, and we do not combine it with your enquiry.

Analytics cookies are only set where you have agreed to them. You can withdraw that agreement at any time by clearing the cookies for this site in your browser.

How long we keep it

We keep enquiry details for as long as we need them to deal with your enquiry and any work that follows, and afterwards only for as long as we need to for our records and to meet our legal obligations. After that they are deleted.

Your rights

You can ask us for a copy of the information we hold about you, ask us to correct it if it is wrong, or ask us to delete it. You can also object to us processing it. Contact us and we will deal with it.

If you are not happy with how we have handled your information you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.

Changes

If we change how we handle information we will update this page.
